Our First Love Story: Ryan + Venus

Every business has a beginning — and for Love Notes, it started with a wedding that will always be close to our hearts.

Ryan and Venus weren’t just our first clients — they are our dear friends. When we first introduced the idea of an audio guestbook, they trusted us enough to let us be part of their special day. In exchange, we offered our service for free as we launched Love Notes, hoping to share something new and meaningful with their celebration.

It was our very first event.

Our setup was simple — just two tables, a white table cloth, our Love Notes light sign, and the audio guestbook. No elaborate styling, no perfected flow yet — just a heartfelt intention to capture the voices, messages, and love of their guests.

And honestly, that day taught us so much.

As the event unfolded, we quickly realized there were many things we could improve — from the setup, to the guest experience, to how we guide people in using the audio guestbook. We took mental notes of everything, knowing that this was only the beginning.

Ryan and Venus’ wedding became our learning ground — the foundation of what Love Notes is today.

Sadly, we don’t have a lot of photos from that day. Not because it wasn’t special, but because we were also part of the entourage — moving between roles, celebrating as friends, and working behind the scenes at the same time.

But maybe that’s what makes it even more meaningful.

We weren’t just service providers that day — we were part of their story.

And from that first event, Love Notes grew. Every setup improved, every detail refined, every experience made more intentional — all because of that one beginning.
